About Chris Hudson

In December of 2000, Chris became the head photographer and photo editor at Today Newspapers Inc. While there he garnered many awards in various newspaper contests, including the North and East Texas Press Association's Photographer of the Year award, as well as several first place awards for photography at NETPA and the Texas Press Association's Better Newspaper Competition.

In July of 2009, Today Newspapers Inc. succumbed to the waning economy and interest in print journalism and closed its doors forever.

Chris took this as an opportunity to go back to school full-time. He majored in communication technology at the University of Texas at Arlington. In the two years there he learned html, css, php, javascript, jquery, ajax, and xml coding. In addition to the coding, he learned search engine optimization, graphic design, typography, internet marketing and other multimedia tools. In May of 2011, Chris graduated cum laude with his bachelor of arts in comm tech.
